AMBUCS Welcomes Four More New Chapters

AMBUCS is happy to welcome four new chapters into our organization. They are the San Antonio chapter, the Cen-Tex chapter, the new Naples chapter and the Greater Louisville chapter.

The San Antonio chapter will be based in San Antonio, Texas and was officially chartered on May 31, 2010 with five members. Officers include president Shawn Hackinson and secretary / treasurer Don Dugan. The sponsoring chapter president and spark plug is Scott Teagle from the Mesquite, TX chapter. The group plans to meet Thursdays at noon at the Spaghetti Warehouse in San Antonio, TX.

The Cen-Tex chapter will be based in Belton, Texas and was officially chartered on May 31, 2010 with seven members.  Officers include president Donna Ingram, vice president Rachel Ashcraft, secretary Doris Parker, and treasurer Linda Veale. Donna Ingram is also the spark plug. Sponsoring chapter presidents are Scott Teagle from Mesquite and Daine Belliveau from Capital City. The group plans to meet on the first and third Monday of each month at Schoeph’s BBQ in Belton, TX.

The new Naples chapter will be based in Naples, FL and was officially re-chartered on July 15, 2010 with 25 members. This chapter previously joined the AMBUCS organization in 1992. Officers include president Norman Gilvey, vice president Patricia Andrews, secretary Sue Gilvey, and treasurer Carmen Kelly. Serving as spark plug was Kip Miles of the Enid AM chapter. Sponsoring chapter presidents is J.D. Sarver from Enid AM chapter. The group plans to meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 7 AM.

The Greater Louisville chapter will be based in Louisville, KY and was charted on July 29, 2010 with 10 members. Officers include president Donna Metzger, vice president Pat McInerney, secretary Patty Dissell, and treasurer Greg Harbin. The meeting time and location for this group has yet to be determined.
