- As an AMBUC, your opinion is very valuable to our organization. So we invited you to share your thoughts on our current governance structure and how we might improve. The results were analyzed by a special national Task Force Committee. The Task Force’s charge is to formulate a plan for transitioning to a new governance structure. Increasingly, AMBUCS has realized that the system of districts and regions designed in the last mid-century does not reflect the reality of AMBUCS today. AMBUCS needs a new structure that serves its members, new members and growth pattern.

- Rememberance: Bud Miller

- Our club lost a long time AMBUC when Bud Miller passed away July 19th at the age of 78. Bud was born March 31, 1934 to Walter and Florence Thompson Miller. He was the owner of the Miller Meat Company in Champaign and operated Eagle Head Woodworking where he made Adirondack Chairs. Bud was also a Korean War Veteran. He became a member of the Champaign-Urbana AMBUCS club in February of 1970. He transfered to the Greater Champaign County AMBUCS on January 10th of 2012. During his years in AMBUCS Bud sponsored 29 new members. He became a Big Hatter on August 25th, 1975, and became a Life Member on July 12, 1982. Bud's tireless efforts on behalf of AMBUCS will very much be missed.
