ASK Project |

The Sooner AMBUCS™ chapter in Norman, OK, between January 1998 and June 2001, has given over 1,200 computers to adults and children with disabilities. This is a great project for a chapter of any size and successfully furthers the AMBUCS™ mission of “creating independence for people with disabilities.” This project is a great model for chapters interested in expanding its programs. The Sooner AMBUCS™ chapter receive donated computers, some old, some newer, and adapt them to the needs of people of all ages. If you and/or your chapter is interested in supporting the ASK project or starting one of your own, read the story of ASK. This story will explain the components necessary to make a project like this work.
