provide fun, innovative service opportunities for people who want to
help their community but do not necessarily have a lot of time to do
so. By working together, AMBUCS™ volunteers make their spare time
go a long, long way.
Service
There is no doubt that service to others is what National AMBUCS™,
Inc. is all about. When someone joins AMBUCS™, they join a group
of individuals who are ready to make a difference in their community.
AMBUCS™ local and national service programs generate intense satisfaction

Professional
As members work shoulder to shoulder together, they contribute to chapter
activities and goals, while learning new skills that can pay lasting
dividends in their professional lives. They also have the opportunity

AMBUCS™
National Programs
AmBility™ and AMBUCS™ Scholars are the two national service
programs of AMBUCS™.
Included witthin
the AmBility™ Program is the AmTryke®
Therapeutic Tricycle Project. This project is designed to give children
with disabilities their first set of wheels. This unique therapeutic
tricycle is hand and/or foot driven. It improves motor coordination,

A long-running success story, the AMBUCS™
Scholars - Scholarships for Therapists is the largest single private
source of educational grants for therapists in the U.S. AMBUCS™
has provided over 6 million dollars to educate future therapists. Read
